jo reyes-boitel

Panhandle

jo reyes-boitel is a poet and playwright now living in Lubbock and has started her PhD in English at Texas Tech University. jo is a graduate of the MFA program in Creative Writing at UTRGV. Their publications include the matchstick litanies (Next Page Press, 2023) and the forthcoming the impracticality of silk (Gnashing Teeth Press, 2024). jo also wrote and produced “she wears bells,” a hybrid opera which was a finalist in Guerilla Opera’s 2021 virtual festival.
