Sam Treviño

Hill Country

Sam Treviño is a writer, poet, and literary organizer from Central Texas. He has served as Community Outreach Director for the East Austin based literary collective Chicon Street Poets and overseen the Aural Literature reading series for Austin Public Library, where he spends his days working as a punk ass book jockey. His work has been featured in Best Buds! Collective, Sybil Journal, and in various zines and backyard whispers. His chapbook, Werewolf Mask, was published by Weekly Weird Monthly in 2016. One of his poems, "An Ongoing List of Things Found in the Library Book Drop, Usually Being Used as Bookmarks," has been adapted into a short film by director Kayla Abuda Galang. He wants to have a conversation with you.
